Our mission
Just like in past years, on the threshold of spring, this year too we went out among the people, in Stratford Station Square in London, to keep the unique tradition of Martisor alive.
Heralds of Spring
Harbingers of Spring
For three days, from February 29 to March 2, from morning to evening, our volunteers, the true harbingers of spring, gave passersby a handmade martisor or lucky bracelet, branded Emoție.
As in previous years, tens of thousands of Romanians, Moldovans, Bulgarians, Macedonians, British and more shared with us this cultural practice inscribed on the UNESCO Intangible Heritage List.
Tradition without borders
We have all enjoyed the bright message and the spirit of kindness, love and community that the symbol of Mărțișor embodies, uniting people beyond nationalities, professions or personal paths.
We are happy that the story of Mărțișor has reached, through the efforts of our organization and our friends, thousands of homes in the UK and we remain dedicated to our mission of promoting this beautiful tradition.
