March 2024
Just like in the past two years, on the eve of spring, we went out again among the people,
in Stratford Station Square in London,
to celebrate and keep alive the unique tradition of Mărțișor.
For three days, from February 29 to March 2, from morning to evening,
our volunteers, the true heralds of spring, gifted to the passers-by
a traditional Mărțișor or a bracelet,
made by Emoție.
As in previous years, thousands of Romanians, Moldovans, Bulgarians, Macedonians, British and more
enjoyed and shared with us this cultural practice registered in the UNESCO Intangible Heritage.
We all enjoyed the cheerful message and spirit of kindness, love, and community
embodied by the symbol of Mărțișor,
uniting people beyond nationalities, professions or personal backgrounds.
We are happy that the story of Mărțișor has reached thousands of UK homes,
through the effort of our organisation and our friends,
and we remain devoted to our mission of promoting this beautiful tradition.
